Young children often feel intimidated by the piano in part because piano playing is often an isolated and challenging endeavour. We find through our experience that children are starved of the opportunity to work with other young musicians. Additionally, with a more pluralistic approach to the piano, it is more likely that our students will learn from one another and complete different complex musical tasks. 

Our group lesson offers a multiplicity of activities that will reinforce specific skill sets throughout the course of the lesson. Ensemble playing will strengthen their rhythmic feeling and listening ability while projecting to the student the joy of making music with others.
