• • Tuition fees are based on a 40 weeks lesson term, which is ten months in length (September- June). Lessons that fall on statutory holidays are included. Lesson held over Christmas break (Dec 23rd-january 5th) and Spring Break (TBA) are not included.

• There will be NO Make – UP lesson and NO Refund available if the student missed a lesson that falls on a statutory holiday.

• Generally, in order to have 40 lessons in each term, lessons will start after Labour day. However, that is not the case for every year; teacher will give further notice for these exceptions.

• We will require 10 post-dated cheques from September to June for registration. Please date the cheques by the first day of each month, payable to “JW’s music studio LTD.”

• For all new students, there is a one-time adminstration fee of $20. Please include this amount in your first post-dated cheque.

• There is ten dollar fee ($10) for any dishonored cheque.

• Students who wish to withdraw from study are required to give four weeks notice. Otherwise, there will be $40 administration fee charge. The remaining cheques held on account will be returned to the student.

• Students / Parents must give at least 24 hour notice for lesson cancellation; otherwise, the lesson will be charged. Makeup lesson is up to the discretion of the teacher. Teacher can write a lesson plan as a makeup lesson substitution.

• There is NO Make – UP lesson and No Refund available for class (group) lesson, such as theory class, but students will be supplied with the missed material. It is the responsibility of the student to catch up.

• Students are highly encouraged to take at least one month of lessons during the summer (July-August). Altogether, the summer will have 8 lessons in the period of two months.

• Each student reserves a set time for a weekly lesson and is responsible for showing up at that reserve time. Lesson time cannot be extended if the student arrives late.

• When teacher is absent, teacher has to arrange a makeup lesson.

• If there are homework assigned, students must present the completed work on the next lesson

• Books have to be ready for the lesson

• Student should have a note book, so the teacher can write homework and practice direction.

• Practice is necessary, although the length of practice may vary from student to student, but there should be a fix time for daily practice

• All intermediate and advance students MUST participate in the masterclass. There will be no regular lesson on the week of masterclass. Parents are welcome to attend these classes and each masterclass will be 2- 2.5 hours in length. There will be 2-3 masterclasses each year.
